This UNO R3 + WiFi board combines the ATmega328P microcontroller of the Arduino UNO with an ESP8266 WiFi module on a single board — giving you the familiar Arduino UNO environment plus WiFi connectivity without needing a separate WiFi shield. The ATmega328P handles Arduino sketches and I/O while the ESP8266 manages WiFi communication. A DIP switch selects the operating mode: Arduino only, ESP8266 only, or Arduino + ESP8266 serial communication. The CH340G USB chip provides USB programming for both processors.
