DuPont 2.0mm Reverse-Side-Head Cable — 2–12 Pin, 24AWG UL1007 PVC

The Keszoox DuPont 2.0mm reverse-side-head cable is a pre-crimped wire harness where conductors exit from the opposite side of the latch of the female housing. This is the standard PCB wiring orientation: cables route flat along the PCB surface or toward the rear of an enclosure without bending stress on the connector body or the crimp terminals.

Available in 2 to 12-pin configurations, built to UL1007 PVC standards with 24AWG stranded copper, rated at 2A / 250V AC/DC, RoHS compliant.

What Is a Reverse-Side-Head DuPont Cable?

In a reverse-side-head (also called reverse-head or opposite-side-exit) DuPont cable, the wire bundle exits from the face of the housing that is opposite to the latch tab. When the connector is mated to a vertical PCB pin header, the wires run parallel to the PCB surface and away from the board — the most common and mechanically preferred routing for PCB-mounted connectors. This orientation minimizes strain on the crimp joint and allows cables to be dressed flat against the PCB or chassis.

Reverse-Side vs. Same-Side: Which Do I Need?

  • Reverse-side-head (this product): Wires exit opposite the latch — cables route flat along the PCB surface or toward the rear of an enclosure. Use for standard PCB-mounted connector wiring where cables must lie flat.
  • Same-side-head: Wires exit same side as the latch — cables route away from the PCB surface or toward the front of an enclosure. Use in tight enclosures where the cable must exit in a specific direction.

Key Features

  • Reverse-side wire exit — standard PCB orientation, conductors exit opposite the housing latch for flat cable routing
  • 2.0mm pitch female housing — compatible with all standard 2.0mm through-hole pin headers
  • 2 to 12-pin options — covers all common multi-wire PCB wiring configurations
  • 24AWG stranded copper — flexible, low-resistance, suitable for signal and low-current power lines up to 2A
  • UL1007 PVC insulation — rated −25°C to +85°C, flame-retardant, RoHS compliant
  • 2A / 250V rating — suitable for signal and low-current power applications
  • Color-coded conductors — each wire is a distinct color for easy identification during assembly and troubleshooting
  • Factory-crimped terminals — consistent crimp quality, verified pull-force retention

Common Applications

  • PCB-to-module signal wiring in embedded systems and microcontroller boards
  • RC receiver, ESC, and flight controller connections (2.0mm pitch is standard in many RC systems)
  • Sensor module, display panel, and BMS internal wiring
  • Consumer electronics internal harness assembly
  • Arduino and development board prototyping with 2.0mm headers
  • Custom low-volume production harness assembly

Technical Specifications

  • Connector Type: Reverse-side-head female housing (wire exit opposite latch)
  • Pitch: 2.00mm (0.079 inch)
