PWM Speed Control

Connect the included PWM driver between the power supply and motor. Control motor speed by varying the PWM duty cycle from your microcontroller:

  • 0% duty cycle = motor stopped
  • 50% duty cycle = approximately half speed
  • 100% duty cycle = full speed

Use Arduino’s analogWrite(pin, value) (0–255) to set the PWM duty cycle. A value of 128 gives approximately 50% duty cycle and half speed.

Q: Can I reverse the rotation direction?
A: The motor is specified as CW rotation. To reverse direction, swap any two of the three motor phase wires at the driver output. Note: the included driver may not support bidirectional control — use a bidirectional ESC or H-bridge driver for reversible applications.
