RGB LED 5mm Clear — Common Cathode, 5-Pack, Full-Color Through-Hole LED
The 5mm clear common cathode RGB LED is the fundamental full-color LED component for Arduino, breadboard, and custom PCB projects. With three independent color channels (Red, Green, Blue) in a single 5mm through-hole package, this LED can produce any color in the RGB spectrum by mixing the three channels — from pure red, green, and blue to white, yellow, cyan, magenta, and millions of intermediate colors.
The common cathode configuration connects the cathode of all three LEDs to a common ground, with each anode driven independently via a current-limiting resistor from an Arduino GPIO pin. Supplied in a 5-pack for prototyping and small projects.
Key Features
- 5mm through-hole package — breadboard and PCB compatible
- Common cathode configuration — compatible with standard Arduino RGB LED circuits
- Clear lens — maximum brightness and color saturation
- Full RGB color mixing — produce any color by mixing R, G, B channels
- 5-pack — ideal for prototyping and small projects
