Male Pin Header 1×40 Break-Away Extended Tail Gold — 2.54mm
A 1×40 break-away male pin header with extended solder tail length and gold-plated contacts. The extended tail allows the header to pass through a thick PCB or spacer while still providing a full mating length above the board — ideal for PCB stacking with spacers and applications where standard-length tails are too short. Snaps to any length from 1 to 40 pins.
Key Specifications
- Configuration: 1×40 (40-pin, single row, break-away) | Pitch: 2.54mm
- Tail length: Extended (longer than standard)
- Contact plating: Gold (Au)
- Current: 3A per pin | Voltage: 250V
- Compliance: RoHS compliant
Why Extended Tail?
- ✅ Extended tail — passes through thick PCBs and spacers
- ✅ Gold contacts — superior corrosion resistance and reliability
- ✅ Break-away — any length from 1–40 pins
- ✅ PCB stacking — ideal for multi-board assemblies with spacers
Typical Applications
- PCB stacking with standoffs and spacers
- Arduino shield with extended pin clearance
- Thick PCB through-board connector
- Multi-board assembly with inter-board spacing
