The Audio Adapter has a dedicated footprint for this chip, enabling longer audio delay buffers for reverb, delay, echo, and chorus effects in Teensy Audio Library projects. Unlike Flash memory, SRAM provides unlimited read/write cycles with no wear — ideal for real-time audio buffer applications.
