Female Pin Header 1×40 (40-Pin) Break-Away — 2.54mm, 2-Pack
2.54mm pitch female pin headers in 1×40 (40-pin) break-away configuration — pack of 2. Through-hole PCB mount with tin-plated contacts. The break-away design allows you to snap the header to any length from 1 to 40 pins — one strip covers all your project needs. The most versatile female header for Arduino shields, Raspberry Pi HATs, and custom PCBs.
Key Specifications
- Configuration: 1×40 (40-pin, single row, break-away) | Pitch: 2.54mm
- Mounting: Through-hole | Contact: Tin-plated brass
- Current: 3A per pin | Voltage: 250V | Pack: 2 strips
- Compliance: RoHS compliant
Why Choose Break-Away?
- ✅ Any length from 1–40 pins — one strip replaces all fixed-length headers
- ✅ Clean break — snaps cleanly at any position with pliers or by hand
- ✅ 2-pack value — 80 pins total for multiple projects
Typical Applications
- Arduino shield stackable female headers (any pin count)
- Raspberry Pi HAT 40-pin GPIO socket
- Custom PCB female connector (any length)
- Module socketing on prototype and production boards
