I2C Logic Level Converter with 3.3V Regulator Module
An I2C-specific logic level converter with an integrated 3.3V voltage regulator — designed specifically for connecting 3.3V I2C sensors and modules to a 5V Arduino. Provides bidirectional open-drain level shifting on both SDA and SCL lines, plus a regulated 3.3V output to power the 3.3V device. The cleanest solution for I2C level conversion.
Key Features
- ✅ Bidirectional I2C level shifting — SDA and SCL lines, 5V ↔ 3.3V
- ✅ On-board 3.3V regulator — power 3.3V I2C devices from 5V supply
- ✅ Open-drain compatible — correct level shifting for I2C protocol
- ✅ Compact design — minimal footprint for breadboard use
- ✅ RoHS compliant
Typical Applications
- Connecting 3.3V I2C sensors (BME280, MPU-6050) to 5V Arduino
- I2C bus level conversion for mixed-voltage systems
- Raspberry Pi 3.3V I2C to 5V device interfacing
- Safe I2C communication between different voltage domains
