Male Pin Header 1×14 Double Insulator Selective Gold — 2.54mm, 2-Pack
A 1×14 male pin header with double insulator body and selective gold-plated contacts — pack of 2. The double insulator design features two plastic insulator bodies along the pin length, preventing pin misalignment and providing superior mechanical stability during soldering and mating. Selective gold plating on the contact tips ensures low contact resistance and corrosion resistance where it matters most. Ideal for Arduino Pro Mini installations where pin alignment is critical.
Key Specifications
- Configuration: 1×14 (14-pin, single row) | Pitch: 2.54mm
- Insulator: Double insulator body (prevents pin misalignment)
- Contact plating: Selective gold (Au) on tips | Tail: Tin-plated
- Current: 3A per pin | Voltage: 250V
- Pack: 2 headers
- Compliance: RoHS compliant
Why Double Insulator?
- ✅ Prevents pin misalignment — dual insulator keeps all 14 pins perfectly parallel during soldering
- ✅ Superior mechanical stability — resists pin bending from cable stress
- ✅ Selective gold tips — low contact resistance without gold on solder tails
- ✅ Arduino Pro Mini fit — 14-pin matches Pro Mini side header exactly
Typical Applications
- Arduino Pro Mini pin header installation
- High-reliability 14-pin PCB connector
- Module pin header requiring precise alignment
- Production PCB assembly with double insulator stability
