The APW7142 from Anpec Electronics is a voltage-mode synchronous buck PWM controller IC in SOP-8 SMD package — driving external N-channel high-side and low-side MOSFETs for high-efficiency synchronous step-down conversion. The 0.8V feedback reference allows low output voltages for modern processor and LCD panel power rails. Adjustable switching frequency (100kHz–1MHz via external resistor) and built-in adaptive deadtime control prevent shoot-through without fixed deadtime losses.
