5015 Blower Fan 12V DC — 50×50×15mm Radial, 2-Pin
A 50×50×15mm (5015) radial blower fan running on 12V DC — the standard blower fan for 3D printer part cooling ducts. Unlike axial fans that push air straight through, the 5015 blower draws air in from the side and expels it from a single outlet at high static pressure — ideal for directing a focused airstream through a duct onto a 3D print layer. Also used for electronics cooling in tight spaces where a duct is required.
Key Specifications
- Size: 50×50×15mm (5015) | Type: Radial blower
- Voltage: 12V DC | Connector: 2-pin (VCC + GND)
- Static pressure: High (suitable for duct applications)
- Airflow: ~4–6 CFM through duct
- Bearing: Sleeve bearing
- Compliance: RoHS compliant
Blower vs Axial Fan
- Blower (this fan): High static pressure — pushes air through ducts and restricted paths
- Axial fan: High airflow — moves large volumes of air in open spaces
- For 3D printer part cooling: blower is preferred for focused, high-pressure airstream
Typical Applications
- 3D printer part cooling duct (FDM printer layer cooling)
- Electronics enclosure duct cooling
- Tight space ventilation requiring high static pressure
- Heatsink forced-air cooling via duct
- DIY cooling system with directed airflow
