KEY FEATURES OF 10K OHM MULTI-TURN TRIMMER POTENTIOMETER:
These potentiometers are precision multi-turn type. They are most often used to dial in an exact resistance / voltage value such as for setting reference voltage for a comparator circuit.
Wiper pin-2 is the center pin. Turning the adjustment screw CW increases the resistance between pin-1 and the wiper while decreasing the resistance between the wiper and pin-3.
OUR EVALUATION RESULTS:
These pots have pretty good linearity based on our testing with fairly smooth operation over their range. We haven’t noted any of the jumpiness or dead-spots that you sometimes find with lower cost pots. Minimum resistance has measured < 1 ohms while maximum resistance is rated value ± 10%.
The leads work well in solderless breadboards.
