DuPont 2.54mm Male-to-Male Ribbon Cable — 2–12 Pin, 22AWG UL1007
The DuPont 2.54mm male-to-male ribbon cable delivers organized, multi-conductor breadboard wiring in a single, color-coded ribbon. With male pins on both ends, it connects female headers, breadboard tie points, and Arduino shields directly — replacing a bundle of individual wires with one clean, manageable cable.
Available in 2 to 12-pin configurations, built to UL1007 PVC standards with 22AWG stranded copper, rated at 3A / 250V per conductor.
Key Features
- Male-to-male on both ends — connects breadboard tie points, female headers, and Arduino shield sockets directly
- 2 to 12-pin options — covers all common multi-wire prototyping needs from 2-wire power to 12-wire data buses
- 2.54mm (0.1") pitch — universal standard for all breadboards, Arduino shields, and standard 0.1" female headers
- Color-coded ribbon — each conductor is a distinct color for fast, error-free signal identification
- 22AWG stranded copper — flexible, low-resistance, handles repeated bending without fatigue
- UL1007 PVC insulation — rated −25°C to +80°C, flame-retardant, RoHS compliant
- 3A / 250V per conductor — suitable for both signal and low-current power lines
Typical Applications
- Breadboard-to-breadboard multi-wire signal routing
- Arduino shield to breadboard connections
- LCD / OLED display module wiring (4–8 pin)
- Stepper motor driver signal connections
- Multi-channel sensor wiring in prototyping rigs
- Custom multi-wire harness assembly

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can the ribbon be separated into individual wires?
A: Yes. The ribbon conductors can be peeled apart for individual routing while keeping the connectors intact.
Q: Is this compatible with Arduino shields?
A: Yes. The 2.54mm pitch matches all standard Arduino shield female headers. The male pins insert directly into shield sockets.
