Electrolytic Capacitor — 1μF / 100V, Radial Through-Hole (10-Pack)
A standard 1μF 100V aluminum electrolytic capacitor in radial through-hole package — rated for 105°C operation. The 100V voltage rating provides a comfortable safety margin for use in mains-derived power supplies, audio circuits, and any application where the capacitor may see elevated voltages. The 1μF value is commonly used for power supply output filtering, audio coupling, and timer circuits.
Key Specifications
| Capacitance | 1μF |
| Voltage Rating | 100V DC |
| Temperature Rating | 105°C |
| Type | Aluminum electrolytic, radial |
| Polarity | Polarized (observe − stripe marking) |
| Lead Spacing | 2.0mm (standard radial) |
| Compliance | RoHS compliant |
Polarity — Important
Electrolytic capacitors are polarized — the negative lead is marked with a stripe on the capacitor body and is the shorter lead. Always connect the negative lead to the lower-voltage side of the circuit. Reverse polarity will damage or destroy the capacitor.
Typical Applications
- Power supply output filtering and decoupling
- Audio signal coupling (input/output coupling capacitor)
- NE555 / TLC555 timer circuits (timing capacitor)
- Filter capacitor in rectifier circuits
- Bypass capacitor for op-amp and audio amplifier circuits
Package Contents
- 10 × Electrolytic Capacitor 1μF 100V (radial, 105°C)
