NE555 Timer Module — Adjustable Frequency & Duty Cycle, PWM Output
The NE555 timer module generates a square wave PWM output with independently adjustable frequency and duty cycle via two on-board potentiometers. No microcontroller needed — a standalone pulse generator for motor speed control, LED dimming, and timing circuits. Includes a power LED and output LED for visual feedback.
Key Features
- ✅ Adjustable frequency — potentiometer control from Hz to kHz range
- ✅ Adjustable duty cycle — independent potentiometer for 0–100% duty cycle
- ✅ PWM square wave output — direct connection to motor drivers and LED drivers
- ✅ Power & output LEDs — visual confirmation of power and pulse output
- ✅ 5–15V supply — wide voltage range for various applications
- ✅ RoHS compliant
Key Specifications
- IC: NE555 | Output: PWM square wave
- Supply: 5–15V | Frequency: adjustable (Hz to kHz)
- Duty cycle: adjustable (0–100%)
Typical Applications
- Standalone PWM motor speed controller
- LED dimmer without microcontroller
- Pulse generator for timing and testing
- Stepper motor pulse source
