XHS2.5 Belt-Lock 2.5mm Reverse-Side-Head Pre-Crimped Cable — 2–12 Pin, 22AWG UL1007
The XHS2.5 (Yeonho SMH250) reverse-side-head cable is the positive-retention wiring harness for 3D printers, robotics, industrial PLCs, and vibration-prone applications. With a belt-lock latch that prevents accidental disconnection, it is the preferred alternative to the latch-free JST XH series wherever connector security is critical.
The reverse-side-head orientation means wires exit from the opposite side of the latch — the standard PCB-mount orientation that routes cables flat along the board surface, minimizing strain on the connector body.
Key Features
- XHS2.5 / Yeonho SMH250 belt-lock housing — positive-retention latch prevents accidental disconnection in vibration-prone environments
- Reverse-side-head orientation — wires exit opposite side from latch, standard PCB-mount cable routing
- 2–12 pin options — covers all common XHS2.5 pin counts
- 22AWG UL1007 PVC — rated −25°C to +85°C, 300V insulation, 3A per contact
- 3A / 250V AC/DC rating — suitable for both signal and moderate power lines
- Bare tinned leads — pre-tinned for direct PCB pad soldering or custom connector termination
- Mating header: Yeonho SMH250J-HNNRT PCB header (2.5mm pitch)
- RoHS2 compliant
XHS2.5 vs JST XH: Which Do I Need?
- XHS2.5 (this product): 2.5mm pitch, belt-lock positive-retention latch — choose for 3D printers, robotics, industrial PLC, and vibration-prone applications where accidental disconnection must be prevented
- JST XH: 2.5mm pitch, no latch — choose for standard PCB header applications where ease of disconnection is preferred
Typical Applications
- 3D printer stepper motor, heated bed, and thermistor wiring
- Robotics joint and actuator control wiring
- Industrial PLC and control panel connections
- CNC machine axis and sensor wiring
- Vibration-prone automotive and industrial electronics
