XHS2.5 Belt-Lock 2.5mm Same-Side-Head Pre-Crimped Cable — 2–12 Pin, 22AWG UL1007
The XHS2.5 (Yeonho SMH250) same-side-head cable is a specialized positive-retention wiring harness for 3D printers, robotics, and industrial applications where cable routing must exit from the same side as the latch. This orientation is essential in tight enclosures where cables must route away from the PCB surface or toward the front of a housing.
The belt-lock latch provides positive retention against accidental disconnection — the preferred alternative to the latch-free JST XH series in vibration-prone environments.
Key Features
- XHS2.5 / Yeonho SMH250 belt-lock housing — positive-retention latch prevents accidental disconnection
- Same-side-head orientation — wires exit same side as latch, for specific cable routing in constrained enclosures
- 2–12 pin options — covers all common XHS2.5 pin counts
- 22AWG UL1007 PVC — rated −25°C to +85°C, 300V insulation, 3A per contact
- 3A / 250V AC/DC rating — suitable for both signal and moderate power lines
- Bare tinned leads — pre-tinned for direct PCB pad soldering or custom termination
- Mating header: Yeonho SMH250J-HNNRT PCB header (2.5mm pitch)
- RoHS2 compliant
Same-Side vs. Reverse-Side: Which Do I Need?
- Same-side head (this product): Wires exit on the same side as the latch — use when cables must route away from the PCB surface or toward the front of an enclosure
- Reverse-side head: Wires exit on the opposite side from the latch — the standard PCB-mount orientation, cables route flat along the board surface
Typical Applications
- 3D printer stepper motor and heated bed wiring in tight frames
- Robotics joint and actuator wiring in constrained enclosures
- Industrial PLC and control panel connections
- CNC machine axis and sensor wiring
- Vibration-prone electronics requiring positive connector retention
