The XHS2.5 (Yeonho SMH250) single-head cable features a belt-lock housing on one end and bare tinned leads on the other — the ideal solution for 3D printer, robotics, and industrial PCB wiring where one end needs to be soldered directly to a PCB pad, screw terminal, or custom connector.
The belt-lock latch provides positive retention against accidental disconnection — the preferred alternative to the latch-free JST XH series in vibration-prone environments such as 3D printers, CNC machines, and industrial PLCs.

XHS2.5 vs JST XH: Which Do I Need?
Both are 2.5mm pitch, 3A/250V. XHS2.5 adds a belt-lock positive-retention latch — choose XHS2.5 for vibration-prone environments (3D printers, robotics, industrial PLC) where accidental disconnection must be prevented. Choose JST XH for standard PCB header applications where ease of disconnection is preferred.
