These high quality stackable and insulated  4mm banana plugs come in a 2-pack.

The banana plugs are designed for use with standard size 4mm banana jacks and are stackable in-line.  The retractable clear sleeve provides a fully insulated connection.

Wire attachment is by soldering to the outside of the upper barrel as shown in the example below.  The inside hole is used by any stacking banana plug and solder should be kept out of the hole.  The maximum wire outside diameter is 4mm.

After the wire is soldered, the spring and safety sleeve are added and the assembly is then inserted into the top of the plug housing.  The top cap is then inserted into the top of the housing which snaps into place and captures the lead wire.

These plugs are a medium duty type and handy for making custom test cables and in low to medium power routing applications.  Maximum current will typically depend on the gauge of wire used with the plug.
