Low cost 0.1uF, 50V radial leaded multilayer ceramic capacitors suitable for use as basic bypass capacitors.
DESCRIPTION
These are low cost 0.1uF, 50V radial leaded multilayer ceramic capacitors suitable for use as basic bypass capacitors.
PACKAGE INCLUDES:
- Qty 25 – 0.1F , 50V Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (China mfr)
KEY FEATURES OF 0.1UF, 50V MULTILAYER CERAMIC CAPACITORS:
Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (often shortened to MLCC) are the go-to general purpose capacitors that can be used in most applications that require smaller capacitance values of ≤ 10uF.
The body is conformally coated and are of a higher quality and typically smaller size than the standard orange ceramic disc capacitors that you often see. Being a fairly small capacitor, they take up little space on a breadboard or in a circuit.
These are low cost 0.1uF bypass caps that come out of China which is why they are considerably cheaper than our quality KEMET line of caps. In our sample testing, they tend to run a little higher than their nominal spec of 0.1uF and are closer to 0.125 – 0.130uF. Body size and lead length tend to fluctuate quite a bit as well. I would expect that their performance over time and temperature will also be on the lower end of the scale as well.
With all that said these work fine for basic non-critical bypass and decoupling applications at a low cost to stock your parts bin.
If you want known high quality parts with a full spec sheet, stick with our KEMET line of caps.
