These D80SH-12 80mm axial fans are a low cost solution for medium cooling tasks for enclosures, large heat sinks, power supplies and similar applications.

OUR EVALUATION RESULTS:
These fans put out a decent amount of air and are commonly used for medium size cooling tasks such as enclosure ventilation and cooling large heat sinks such as are used with Peltier cooling setups.
These fans are moderately quiet in operation at 12V.
The fan will operate over the range of 6-12VDC with reduced airflow and noise at lower voltages. They also respond to PWM control reasonably well, but we have noticed that some may start to sing a bit at certain PWM ranges.
