Application Range

For charging lithium-ion batteries: When the battery voltage is relatively low, directly charging with constant voltage could cause a large voltage difference, leading to excessive current and potential battery damage. Therefore, constant current charging should be used at the beginning. Once the charging reaches a certain level, it will automatically switch to constant voltage charging.

Product Features

The module uses the high-quality domestic LMI2596 chip, offering high efficiency (92%) and low heat generation, easily supporting over 3A output. It is paired with an original TI operational amplifier to control the output current, ensuring stable performance. The module also uses low ESR original Sanyo filter capacitors, reducing ripple voltage to as low as 50mV! Manufactured with machine-mounted components and reflow soldering, each module undergoes a 2-hour aging test before shipment to ensure high reliability.

¡ï Battery Charging Instructions:

1.Determine the float charging voltage and charging current required for your battery, and the module¡¯s input voltage.
2.Adjust the constant voltage potentiometer to set the output voltage around 5V.
3.Use a multimeter set to the 10A current range to measure the output short-circuit current, and adjust the constant current potentiometer to achieve the desired charging current.
4.The charging current light is preset to 0.1 times the charging current (constant current value) by default. If adjustment is needed, adjust the light current potentiometer. (Generally, no adjustment is needed.)
5.Adjust the constant voltage potentiometer to set the output voltage to the float charging voltage.
6.Connect the battery and test the charging.
(Steps 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 are for when the module is connected to power input, and the output is not connected to the battery.)

¡ï LED Constant Current Driver Instructions:

1.Determine the working current and maximum working voltage for the LED you need to drive.
2.Adjust the constant voltage potentiometer to set the output voltage around 5V.
3.Use a multimeter set to the 10A current range to measure the output short-circuit current, and adjust the constant current potentiometer to achieve the desired LED working current.
4.Adjust the constant voltage potentiometer to set the output voltage to the LED's operating voltage.
5.Connect the LED and test the system.
(Steps 1, 2, 3, 4 are for when the module is connected to power input, and the output is not connected to the LED.)
