This MagJack is for making wired Ethernet connections.

KEY FEATURES OF ETHERNET MAGJACK:

MagJack is shorthand for an RJ45 Ethernet connector (jack) with all the magnetics built into it that are required for properly coupling the Ethernet cable to the electronic hardware.  It also has two LEDs included as well commonly used to show activity.

This is the same MagJack provided with the Teensy 4.1 Ethernet kit and is offered separately for those that may be doing their own baseboard for Teensy 4.1 or other Ethernet capable microcontroller as they can sometimes be difficult to find.  It is also the same one used on our Prototyping System for the Teensy 4.1
