Useful for socketing 48-pin MCUs like the Teensy 4.1

DESCRIPTION

These are 1 x 24 single row female headers for mating with male header pins.  They are useful for socketing 48-pin MCUs like Teensy 4.1 and Teensy 3.5.

KEY FEATURES OF HEADER FEMALE 1 X 24:

• 1 x 24 female header with standard 2.54mm (0.1″) spacing

The pins are designed to be soldered to a PCB.  The female side mates with standard length male headers that are approximately 6mm long.

When soldering these connectors onto a board, it is sometimes easiest if you insert the connectors into male headers stuck into a solderless breadboard or similar in order to hold the connectors aligned during the soldering process.

Notes:  These strips can be cut into shorter lengths if needed using diagonal cutters, but at least one pin will be lost in the process.
