These yellow header shunts have extended grips to make them easier to grab.

DESCRIPTION

These header shunts are used to short adjacent male header pins.  The shunts are yellow with extended finger grips for easy use.

These are commonly used to short adjacent male header pins to chose between a couple of options on circuit boards or to bridge adjacent header pins without having to solder wires or using long jumper wires.

We like these yellow ones with extended grips for applications where the shunt is going to need to be moved on occasion.  The yellow makes the shunt easy to locate and the extended finger grip makes them easy to move around in tight spaces without resorting to using needle-noise pliers compared to the standard height shunts.
