How to Apply

• Select a tube with supplied ID approximately 20–30% larger than the wire/connector diameter
• Slide tube over the wire before making the connection (cannot be applied after)
• Position tube over the joint or area to be insulated
• Apply heat evenly using a heat gun (recommended), lighter, or soldering iron tip (not recommended — uneven heating)
• Heat gun setting: 150–200°C, hold 5–10cm from tube, move slowly along the length
• Tube will shrink uniformly in 5–15 seconds; allow to cool before handling
