LM393 Dual Voltage Comparator IC – DIP-8

The LM393 is the industry-standard dual voltage comparator – a dedicated IC designed specifically for comparing two analog voltages and producing a digital output. With open-collector outputs, wide supply voltage range (2V–36V single supply), and the ability to interface directly with TTL and CMOS logic, the LM393 is the go-to comparator for sensor threshold detection, zero-crossing detection, and analog-to-digital signal conversion.
