DESCRIPTION
The LM741C is a general purpose operational amplifier designed to operate from a single or split power supply. It is very ‘old school’, but many projects are based on it. The UA741C is an equivalent part and can be substituted in basic projects. We ship either version.

For anyone that has been in the hobby a long time, the LM741 was THE op amp for projects. Between it and the 555 timer, just about anything could be made. The LM741 is still a good basic op
amp for experimenting with the technology and building basic op amp circuits including comparators, inverters and basic amplifiers. We offer them mainly for those that want to duplicate a project that uses it.
It can be operated from up to ± 18V split power supplies or the V- pin can be grounded and operated in a single supply configuration.
The package also has two offset null pins. This allows a 10K potentiometer to be attached across them to change the output offset when using dual supplies.
Outputs have good drive capability and can sink/source up to 25mA per channel.
