Logic Level Converter 4-Channel Bidirectional Module — 3.3V / 5V
A 4-channel bidirectional logic level converter for safely interfacing 3.3V and 5V devices. Uses MOSFET-based level shifting that supports I2C, SPI, UART, and general digital signals in both directions simultaneously. The standard solution for connecting 3.3V sensors (BME280, MPU-6050, nRF24L01+) to a 5V Arduino without damage.
Key Specifications
- Channels: 4 bidirectional | Voltages: 3.3V ↔ 5V
- Type: MOSFET-based (BSS138) | Protocols: I2C / SPI / UART / GPIO
- Max frequency: ~4MHz | Supply: 3.3V LV + 5V HV
- Compliance: RoHS compliant
Why Choose This?
- ✅ Bidirectional — signals pass in both directions simultaneously
- ✅ I2C compatible — correct open-drain level shifting for I2C protocol
- ✅ 4 channels — convert SDA, SCL, and 2 additional signals at once
- ✅ No external power needed — powered from LV (3.3V) and HV (5V) pins
Typical Applications
- Connecting 3.3V I2C sensors to 5V Arduino
- SPI level conversion for 3.3V flash and SD cards
- UART level conversion between 3.3V and 5V devices
- Mixed-voltage digital signal interfacing
