With four cascaded MAX7219 ICs and a simple 5-pin SPI interface, this module displays scrolling text, animations, and custom graphics with just three GPIO pins and a few lines of code.

Compatible with the popular MD_MAX72XX and MD_Parola Arduino libraries for easy scrolling text and animation effects. Multiple modules can be daisy-chained for even wider displays.
