Miniature Microswitch with Lever SPDT — 2A @ 125VAC, Snap-Action, PCB Mount (5-Pack)
These miniature SPDT microswitches with levers are the standard snap-action switch for limit switch, end-stop, and position detection applications. The lever arm extends the actuation point away from the switch body, allowing the switch to be triggered by a moving part, cam, or object without direct contact with the switch body. Three terminals (C, NO, NC) provide both normally-open and normally-closed contacts from a single switch. Pack of 5.
Electrical Specifications
- Configuration: SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) — C, NO, NC terminals
- Maximum Current: 2A
- Maximum Voltage: 125VAC
- Tested: 2A @ 12VDC (good snap-action operation)
- Action: Snap-action (fast switching, minimal contact bounce)
- Lever Length: 13mm (0.5")
- Lever Travel for Actuation: ~2mm
- Termination: Solder pins, 5.08mm (0.2") centers
- Mounting: 2 mounting holes for small screws
- Body Dimensions: 13 × 6 × 7mm
- Pack Quantity: 5 switches
SPDT Terminal Functions
- C (Common): Always connected — connect your signal or power here
- NC (Normally Closed): Connected to C when lever is NOT pressed — opens when lever is depressed
- NO (Normally Open): Disconnected when lever is NOT pressed — connects to C when lever is depressed
Typical Applications
- 3D printer end stops: X/Y/Z axis limit switches for homing and travel limits
- CNC machine limits: Axis end-stop detection for CNC routers and mills
- Robot bumper switch: Collision detection for mobile robots
- Door / drawer position: Detect open/closed state of doors and drawers
- Conveyor position: Part presence detection on conveyor systems
- Cam-operated switch: Triggered by rotating cam for timed switching
