DuPont 2.0mm Single-Head Pre-Crimped Terminal Cable — 24AWG UL1007 PVC, No Housing

The Keszoox DuPont 2.0mm single-head pre-crimped terminal cable features a bare female crimp terminal on one end and a pre-tinned bare lead on the other — without a housing. At 2.00mm pitch, this cable is designed for compact PCB designs where one end inserts into a pre-installed 2.0mm DuPont housing and the other end is soldered directly to a PCB pad, screw terminal, or custom connector.

Built with 24AWG UL1007 PVC conductor, rated at 300V / 80°C, RoHS compliant. Factory-crimped terminal on the connector end ensures consistent crimp geometry and reliable contact retention.

What Is a Single-Head Pre-Crimped Terminal Cable (No Housing)?

A single-head pre-crimped terminal cable without housing has a factory-crimped female crimp terminal on one end (for insertion into a 2.0mm DuPont housing) and a bare tinned wire lead on the other end (for direct soldering or clamping). This is the mixed-termination variant: one end connects to a standard DuPont 2.0mm connector system; the other end connects to any point that accepts a bare wire — PCB pad, screw terminal, spring clamp, or custom connector. It differs from the both-sided variant (terminals on both ends) and from the single-head cable with housing (which includes the plastic housing shell).

Key Features

  • Female DuPont crimp terminal one end — no housing, for direct insertion into 2.0mm DuPont housings
  • Pre-tinned bare lead other end — factory-tinned for direct PCB pad soldering or custom termination without additional preparation
  • 2.0mm pitch — compact pitch for space-constrained PCB designs
  • 24AWG UL1007 PVC insulation — rated 80°C, 300V
  • Factory pre-crimped assembly — consistent, reliable crimp quality on the terminal end
  • RoHS compliant — EU Directive 2011/65/EU

Common Applications

  • Mixed-termination harness assembly: DuPont housing one end, PCB pad solder other end
  • Replacement terminal-wire assemblies for existing 2.0mm DuPont housings with custom far-end termination
  • Compact PCB harness assembly where one end requires a non-standard termination
  • Sensor and actuator connections in wearable electronics and IoT devices
  • Repair and rework of existing 2.0mm DuPont cable assemblies with damaged bare-lead ends

Frequently Asked Questions

Product & Compatibility

What is the difference between JST PH, XH, ZH, and SH connectors?

JST connectors differ primarily in pitch (pin spacing): SH = 1.0mm, ZH = 1.5mm, PH = 2.0mm, XH = 2.5mm. Smaller pitch connectors are used in compact electronics like drones and wearables, while larger pitch connectors suit general prototyping and power applications. Always verify pitch before ordering to ensure compatibility.

Are your connectors compatible with standard Arduino and Raspberry Pi projects?

Yes. Our DuPont 2.54mm connectors are the industry standard for Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and most development boards. JST PH 2.0mm is widely used for LiPo batteries in RC and robotics projects. We recommend checking your board's datasheet to confirm the exact connector type and pin count required.

What wire gauge (AWG) should I choose for my application?

Wire gauge depends on current load: 28–30 AWG suits signal lines up to 0.5A; 24–26 AWG handles 1–3A for moderate power; 22 AWG is suitable for up to 5A. For high-current applications, always use appropriately rated wire and connectors. Our product listings specify the AWG and rated current for each cable.

What is the difference between UL1007 and Silicone wire?

UL1007 is a PVC-insulated wire rated for 80°C and 300V, suitable for most indoor electronics applications. Silicone wire is rated for higher temperatures (up to 200°C), is more flexible, and performs better in harsh environments or high-vibration applications such as RC vehicles and industrial equipment.

Orders & Customization

Can I order custom cable lengths or connector configurations?

Yes. We offer custom wire harness solutions including custom lengths, connector types, pin counts, and wire colors. Please contact us via the Contact page with your specifications and we will provide a quote within 1–2 business days.

Do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing?

Yes. Volume discounts are available for orders of 50 units or more. Please reach out through our Contact page with your requirements for a customized wholesale quote.

How do I know which connector polarity or pin orientation to order?

Always refer to your device's datasheet or existing connector for pin 1 orientation. Our product images include wiring diagrams where applicable. If you are unsure, contact us with your device model and we will help identify the correct part.
