OLED Display 0.91″ 128×32 White — I2C, SSD1306, Arduino

A compact 0.91-inch OLED display with 128×32 pixel resolution and white pixels — driven by the SSD1306 I2C controller. OLED displays emit their own light — no backlight required — resulting in perfect black levels, extremely high contrast, and lower power consumption than LCD displays. The narrow 128×32 format is ideal for compact status bars, scrolling text, and small data displays in space-constrained projects.

Key Specifications

  • Size: 0.91 inches | Resolution: 128×32 pixels
  • Panel: OLED (self-emitting) | Color: White
  • Driver IC: SSD1306 | Interface: I2C
  • I2C address: 0x3C (default) | Supply: 3.3–5V
  • Library: Adafruit SSD1306 / U8g2 (Arduino)
  • Compliance: RoHS compliant

Why OLED?

  • No backlight — true black pixels, infinite contrast ratio
  • Ultra-low power — only lit pixels consume power, ideal for battery projects
  • Wide viewing angle — readable from any angle without color shift
  • I2C interface — only 2 wires (SDA + SCL) needed
  • Compact 0.91″ — fits in tight spaces where larger displays won’t

Typical Applications

  • Compact status bar display for Arduino projects
  • Wearable electronics small display
  • IoT device status indicator
  • Scrolling text and notification display
  • Battery-powered sensor node display
