Expect customization orders.Strong leads and easy to read color coding for breadboarding.
This kit of robust 5% resistors includes 59 commonly used values with a total of 680pcs.
These are carbon film axial leaded through hole resistors and can handle up to 1/4W of power at voltages up to 350V. 1/4W resistors are the most commonly used size for breadboarding.
We offer this particular line of resistors for breadboarding because they have easy to read color-coding on a tan (5%) background so you don’t have to keep dragging out the multimeter to figure out values.
In addition the leads are very stout with a 0.55 mm diameter constructed of tin and copper plated over steel wire, so they hold up well with repeated insertions into solderless breadboards. No more trying to use needle nose pliers to get the resistor leads to insert into the breadboard. The larger leads also grip better in the contacts. These resistors can basically last a lifetime of use with solderless breadboards.
Because the leads are strong, these resistors can also be useful when sky-wiring a permanent project.
The resistors are clearly labeled in extra strong 4 mil poly bags which will standup to repeated opening and closing unlike thinner bags.
There is qty 25 for the most common values of 100, 220, 330, 1K, 4.7K and 10K ohm and qty 10 of the remaining values.
These resistors can be supplemented or replenished if needed with our individual bags of these same resistors.
