TXS0108E 8-Channel Logic Level Converter Module — 3.3V / 5V Bidirectional
The TXS0108E 8-channel logic level converter is based on the Texas Instruments TXS0108E — a high-speed, auto-direction-sensing bidirectional level translator. Converts 8 channels between 3.3V and 5V at up to 100Mbps without requiring direction control pins. Ideal for high-speed SPI, UART, and GPIO level conversion.
Key Specifications
- IC: TXS0108E | Channels: 8 bidirectional
- Voltages: 1.2V–3.6V (VCCA) ↔ 1.65V–5.5V (VCCB)
- Max data rate: 100Mbps (push-pull) / 2Mbps (open-drain)
- Auto-direction: Yes | OE pin: Yes
- Compliance: RoHS compliant
Why Choose This?
- ✅ Auto-direction sensing — no direction control pin needed
- ✅ 100Mbps — suitable for high-speed SPI and digital buses
- ✅ 8 channels — convert full SPI bus and more simultaneously
- ✅ Wide voltage range — 1.2V to 5.5V on both sides
Typical Applications
- High-speed SPI bus level conversion
- UART and GPIO level shifting between 3.3V and 5V
- Raspberry Pi to 5V device interfacing
- Mixed-voltage digital bus interfacing
